Wade's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser

Jan 17, 2024

Wade Singleton is a native Floridan and has migrated north from Pembroke Pines to Palm Beach Gardens before landing in Palm City, where he has been living his best life since he was six. He is the oldest of five kids in the Singleton family--one sister, Caroline, and three little brothers, Thatcher, Wyatt, and Charlie. Around the house, you can find him in the backyard playing "All Time QB" for all the boys on the street in a lively BFL game (Backyard Football League) or generally doing his best to motivate and impart wisdom to the three younger siblings. Wade has also served as a coach for the local rec basketball league, regularly volunteers at The Village Club & Preserve, and attends church at Christ Fellowship in Stuart. Wade is a junior at The Pine School in Hobe Sound where he is a captain for both the golf and basketball teams while maintaining a 4.2 GPA (making his family proud). He aspires to continue athletics at the collegiate level upon graduation.

Since joining the LLS Student Visionary of the Year Campaign, Wade has embraced the training and challenge of raising funds for a worthy cause. "As I've started to engage with others on the topic of cancer, I've learned that just about everybody has been touched--in some way--by the disease. Whether it's the tragic loss of a friend or family member, the joy of someone overcoming cancer, or even supporting someone who is still battling cancer and praying for a cure," says Wade. He looks forward to leading his LLS Campaign Team, dubbed "Shooting for Victory Over Cancer" toward meeting (and exceeding) their goal.

I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help.

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

Thanks to your support, our efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.

On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
